Oct. 6th Daniel Sperry Concert at Bas Bleu
Daniel Sperry, cellist, composer and evocateur will be bringing his irrational quest for beauty to Ft. Collins at Bas Bleu Theater, Thursday evening, Oct. 6th at 7:30 p.m., in a unique program of original cello music, and spoken poetry of Rumi, Hafiz, Mary Oliver, Billy Collins and others. Through times of destruction, the signature of the Age of Kali, the fall of form and the remembrance of 9/11, there are cycles of birth and beginning that may be hard to see at this point. However, the greatest gifts come on the cycles of seeming loss and tragedy. Humanity is being borne into it’s true power, and all false icons to the god of power are imploding, as they should.

The Harvest Moon lights up the late summer night in the wateriest of water signs ~ Pisces. Symbolized by two fish bound together, ruler of the oceans that reflect the boundless spiritual energy beneath the surface of all physical existence. The powerful mystery of the sea from which all creativity emerges like Botticelli’s Venus is also where all is merged, fluid, and connected and moves as one. Pisces, so subjective, sensitive and intuitive as she responds to impressions from her environment both internal and external. Pisces is our connection to the divine source of compassion. She teaches us to surrender to that which is larger than our limited physical existence and to what cannot be controlled by our short-sighted ego selves. Her ruler, Neptune, dissolves, softens, and distorts reality, limitations and boundaries opening us to the great feminine void and idealistic possibility and vision.
Navigating Change

It’s September 7th, and I am feeling the last days of summer as the air gets cool, crisp and the leaves begin to fall to earth. The morning walks in the foothills signal change in every way possible, with the changing of the summer green grasses to autumn gold, to the absolute cool morning air that requires a light jacket or sweater.
The Earth Mother is shouting CHANGE through our annual seasonal shifting. Yet, that is not all, as we see a multitude of other signals of intense and massive change. There are too many changes to name, coming through our culture and the landscapes around the world. The aquarian age is continuing to crack the status quo and realign how we do life.
