Great News!!! The second edition of the Mythical Goddess Tarot has arrived back in Colorado! In the process of going back to press, Sage and I sat down with the guidebook and added some additional pages to assist you in your enjoyment of the Mythical Goddess Tarot!
We have added a new 15-card spread that will give you more in-depth information when reading. We have also added a section on the infamous "Negative" cards in the deck, as they hold great importance that we often just don’t want to embrace. You will also find we have added a bit more information about each of the suits and their elemental meanings.

Pisces New Moon with its upcoming companion Full Moon in Virgo essentially ends the Sun cycle for the year before Vernal Equinox, when the Sun enters the 0º Aries point renewing the cycle again with the rising energies of spring. Pisces is also ruler of the 12th and last house of the zodiac – culmination – the house that holds mystery and Spirit. Where does one turn after journeying through all the other facets of material life symbolized by the houses? To the spiritual aspects of life, to surrender, to union with the divine, to transcendence and compassion.
With Neptune, the major outer planet that rules Pisces, having just moved into its own sign where it will be for the next 14 years, it’s helpful to broaden our understanding of what Pisces represents in the zodiac. Neptune has a long cycle and hasn’t been in its own sign for 164 years.

With the Moon full in Leo, we have the perfect opportunity to access the portal of our heart. The Sun that is the source of light, heat and energy for Earth is Leo’s powerful ruling planet. Leo is where we naturally exude leadership, power and brilliance. Radiant, vibrant and filled with the confident will of ‘the King of Beasts’ is Leo’s signature. Just as the Sun is the heart of our solar system, so Leo has rulership of the heart, the blood and spine.
Aquarian New Moon Jan. 2012

The Sun has just moved into Aquarius on Friday, Jan. 20 and we move immediately into a New Moon at 2º triggering an early Chinese New Year on Monday accompanied by Mars going retrograde until April 13. A busy astrological weekend!
So, we leave behind the earth/water influences of Capricorn and Cancer (father and mother) of the last Full Moon cycle of Jan. 9 and enter the fixed power domain of Aquarius/Leo in air and fire signs. Each element, earth, water, air, fire has a power sign, and they are opposite each other forming a continuum. Honor, Blessings and Respect to the Winter Solstice.
The point of power that anchors the year – for the Northern hemisphere, the first day of Winter – for the Southern hemisphere – the opposite, the first day of Summer. From the Sun’s maximum at Summer Solstice until now, the Sun has decreased until reaching its point of maximum contraction – the ultimate out breath, the shortest day. The Solstice point, December 21/22, marks the death and rebirth of the Masculine principle of the light. With the dawning of the Solstice, the Sun enters 0º Capricorn, cardinal earth sign, and the Sun again begins its slow ascendancy into fullness on the Summer Solstice.

We’ve been mailed an eclipse package. It arrived with the New Moon Solar Eclipse on Nov. 24, Thanksgiving Day USA, and now is coming into full expression with the Gemini Full Moon paired with a total Lunar Eclipse. Moving into the Solstice period is the frosting on the 3-layer cake.
