Great News!!! The second edition of the Mythical Goddess Tarot has arrived back in Colorado! In the process of going back to press, Sage and I sat down with the guidebook and added some additional pages to assist you in your enjoyment of the Mythical Goddess Tarot!
We have added a new 15-card spread that will give you more in-depth information when reading. We have also added a section on the infamous "Negative" cards in the deck, as they hold great importance that we often just don’t want to embrace. You will also find we have added a bit more information about each of the suits and their elemental meanings.

11-11-11 Portal of Love and Light

The Divine Feminine Taurus Full Moon energy November 10th comes on the eve of an auspicious spiritual portal day of 11-11-11. The 11-11-11 date is a day considered to be a portal to awakening for the masses of humanity, activating our very DNA. It is considered an encoded time portal that is unlocking the genetic codes that have been hidden from our conscious awareness for thousands of years. The awakening of these DNA encoding in turn is assisting us in remembering who we really are as spiritual beings having a physical experience. We really are being given an energetic assistance to "Waking Up!"

With a Full Moon, light is shed on the birth point of the New Moon two weeks prior. The Moon is 180º from the Sun – in opposition and we can find ourselves in an either-or situation. One side can be projected outward so we can view the issues as if they were external to us. Awareness is greatly increased and often manifested through relationships. We find ourselves sitting on the fence or there is a see saw quality that supports seeing both sides of a situation.

When you are summoned into the dark, wet cave of the deepest parts of yourself, who do you call out for? You call on the forces of Scorpio and Pluto, Scorpio’s ruling planet, to guide you and protect you. You imagine the allies of death and rebirth – the scorpion, the eagle and the phoenix as your guides, guardians and wisdom keepers. All three engage the forces of transformation that Scorpio/Pluto embody in the mysteries of sex, death, and rebirth. The solitary, nocturnal scorpion takes us to our passion. When we engage in the sexual dance with another, both are transformed. Whether the encounters with our desires are chaotic or powerfully transformative depends on our ability to channel and direct our power appropriately. The high-flying eagle is our link to Spirit when we have become confused by the illusory nature of the material world and lost our connection to true power. Eagle gives us courage to soar above our small self and the objectivity to sort out the negative voices of ego and to listen to the positive, loving and supportive voice of Spirit. The vision of the eagle supports us. The mythical phoenix, a spirit bird of great beauty and longevity known to most ancient cultures – Egypt, Assyria, Arabia, Greece, China, Japan, Native Americans – and always associated with the Sun, rises from the flames of its own death and is reborn anew. With the Sun and Moon in opposition at Full Moon, we are always presented the opportunity to fully experience the two extremes of a polarity – to increase our awareness of the paradox of duality. At this Moon, we dance with the polarity of self identity and partnering or independence/interdependence. In Aries/Libra we are expressing through the masculine elements of fire and air. We are ready to express new ways of being in the world and experience the impact of a significant partnership in our lives. The Moon in fiery Aries will illuminate all the issues of ‘who am I now?’. If your fire nature is in balance, you will feel motivated and enthusiastic and connected to your passion and sexual energy. You will be ready to marshal your creativity with joy and a sense of adventure. Fire nature out of balance might look like exhaustion, feeling drained, anger and panic arises, even bitterness. Forgiving others is difficult, judgment is easy.
Stagnation, no movement or growth, is apparent.

The Harvest Moon lights up the late summer night in the wateriest of water signs ~ Pisces. Symbolized by two fish bound together, ruler of the oceans that reflect the boundless spiritual energy beneath the surface of all physical existence. The powerful mystery of the sea from which all creativity emerges like Botticelli’s Venus is also where all is merged, fluid, and connected and moves as one. Pisces, so subjective, sensitive and intuitive as she responds to impressions from her environment both internal and external. Pisces is our connection to the divine source of compassion. She teaches us to surrender to that which is larger than our limited physical existence and to what cannot be controlled by our short-sighted ego selves.
