Shamanic Healing is an age old practice of healing. From a shamanic view, we are dreaming this reality and we are Spirit, or Essence in form. Everyone is Spirit and is a part of the dream we are dreaming. When an individual experiences illness or distress in their lives, he/she is experiencing a distortion of their original patterns of Creation. The energies become "knotted", "dull" and without life. A shamanic practitioner works through a variety of methods to help this person restore the patterns, often helping to remove the imprints of the distortion created by trauma, and beliefs in another time than the present. The shamanic practitioner will often move into a trance or journey space to work intuitively with the Spirit world and the conscious waking world to help the shift occur.
Individual Healing Sessions with Katherine Skaggs – shamanic practitioner
Katherine has worked with energy, sacred laws and healing principles and practices for more than 20 years. She has expanded her practice the past few years to include shamanic healing work with song, sound, feather work, crystals, spirit animals, the use of sacred healing tobacco and agua florita, along with flower essences and essential oils. Katherine also works with your spirit guides and higher guidance system, sacred geometry and dream language. Katherine acts as a "hollow bone" for Spirit to use in assisting one in healing their lives and their bodies.
The main focus of this work is to assist an individual in recognizing their role in creating the dream and to assist them in alleviating the symptoms of disconnection, illness and suffering, while learning methods of self-empowerment, forgiveness, compassion and personal healing – physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
Sessions are personal and designed specifically for the client’s needs. The ultimate goal is to assist the client in recognizing and experiencing that it is they who heal themselves in co-creation with Spirit.

Katherine is a graduate of advanced studies with the School of Metaphysics (1990), where she was a teacher and a director of schools for four years. She has also trained in the Light Language, Circles of Life tap touch healing, Reiki I and II, as well as basic and advanced shamanic practices with the Power Path School of Shamanism. Katherine graduated June 2010 from the Power Path’s 2-year advanced multi-cultural shamanic program where Katherine has had the great fortune to work directly with indigenous shamans from around the world, specifically the Andes, the Shipibo of the upper Amazon in Peru, and the Huichol Indians of Mexico. Her teachers at the Power Path School of Shamanism have 30+ years experience personally with a multi-cultural shamanic path and have brought Katherine into the lineage of both Huichol and Shipibo shamanic practices. Katherine continues to train in advanced practices with the Shipibo shamans in the jungles of Peru, and has completed plant medicine diets that assist her in extracting mis-aligned energies.
