Join Katherine Skaggs, shamanic practitioner and visionary artist for an evening of heart. Within the shamanic healing circle you will experience a community space dedicated to raising your vibration and your ability to experience balance, harmony and joy.
Shamanic healing circles give great support, especially in rocky times and chaotic challenges. Texas, particularly your area, has been hit hard as of late. It is an excellent time to clean away the challenges, the losses, and even the survivor's guilt for some, as well as a time to be filled back up. We are in a reset spiritually as well as physically. Healing circle work and heart-centered spiritual practices are as important now as ever.
Katherine will open a medicine wheel, calling the allies of the directions, as well as connecting to Great Spirit. You will be cleaned and cleared individually and collectively within the group experience. Katherine will use sacred smudge or sacred tobacco to clean your aura, and offer agua de florida (flower water with prayers) to raise your vibration. Each person will also receive a healing within the group container. Various shamanic instruments such as drums, rattles, feathers, and prayers will be used in the process to raise your frequency and restore your soul.
This circle is a beautiful and sacred container to clean out the old energies that do not serve you, as well as to support your true essence shining brightly.
Katherine Skaggs is a shamanic practitioner who has trained internationally with indigenous shamans for the past 11 years. (Shipibo Shamans and their traditions from the Amazon Jungles of Peru, Huichol traditions from Mexico, Qur'o traditions from the Andes, as well as Native American and other traditions from shamans around the world via her teachers in Santa Fe, NM.)
Previous to shamanic work Katherine trained in various energy healing modalities (reiki, light language healing, sacred geometry light language healing, and other ancient in-depth metaphysical energy work and practices.

Fundamental concepts of shamanism:

2. Energy and matter are the same. Everything is vibration. Everything that exists is an energy system within a greater energy system.
3. Everything that exists is connected to everything else in a web of energy or life.
4. Unseen/inner/spiritual reality affects visible reality.
A shamanic practitioner is a “hollow bone” for Spirit, whose job is to bring balance and harmony to the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual dimensions for an individual, a community or group, for a home, land, or any object or being. This also can be applied to anything that exists.
Shamanic healing takes place in many forms, depending on what intuitive guidance is received from Spirit. This can include plant, herb and mineral spirit medicine, the use of song and other instruments to move and transform energy, visualization, soul retrieval, extraction, hands on shamanic massage or physical body manipulation. The shamanic practitioner understands the necessity to use both nature and spirit in healing and that true healing is whole and complete: body, mind and spirit.
