Hand Drums

Native style hand drums are made in sacred ceremony, prayer and ritual by master drum maker Katherine Skaggs.

Various hides are available for your drum: Elk, Horse, Deer, Bison/Buffalo, and Moose if available. The drum is the instrument of the heart, and one of the oldest instruments on the planet.

Regardless of which hide you choose, each drum is unique and brings "medicine" to you for strengthening your heart and soul self. You will also receive a basic drum mallet/beater with your drum.

Hand drums make with rawhide are 'living' instruments of the heart. They breathe with the dryness or moisture of your environment. A Care and Feeding of Your Drum document and guidance is given with the purchase of your drum to insure you know how to best care for your hand drum for a lifetime.
