Ancestral Healing • Medicine of the West • Taurus Full Moon

Come into sacred circle beneath the October Full Moon as we work with the medicine of the West— the direction of reflection, harvest, ancestral wisdom, healing, and release. We will be focused on Work with the Ancestors: Building an Ancestral Altar, Connecting to our Ancestral lineage, giving offerings and gratitude, as well as a healing ceremony to release ancestral trauma and to retrieve lost soul parts. 

With the Full Moon in Taurus opposite the Sun in Scorpio, we enter a powerful time to honor the gifts and blessings carried through our ancestral lineages while also tending the wounds, patterns, and generational trauma that are ready for healing.

Each woman is invited to bring photos, heirlooms, or meaningful objects connected to her ancestors as we create a shared ancestral altar and open sacred space for remembrance, gratitude, healing, and reconnection.

Our ceremony will include a guided shamanic drum journey with the Bone Shaman, supporting you in retrieving lost soul parts, receiving ancestral medicine, and calling forward the strengths, gifts, and blessings within the lineage you were born into.

This is a circle for honoring where we come from, healing what is ready to be healed, and carrying the wisdom of our ancestors forward with greater consciousness and love.

What to Bring

• Your authentic self!
• Intentions for the night.
• A journal or notebook if desired.
• Photos , heirlooms or meaningful objects connected to your Ancestors (all who have walked before you) to create an ancestral altar. 
• Prayers for harvest, completion, and release personally and for your ancestral lineage healing

What to Expect

• Gather in sacred women's circle.
• Be cleansed with palo santo and sage.
• Receive a blessing with sacred flower water.
• Katherine will open the Medicine Wheel to create protected ceremonial space.
• Receive teachings on the Taurus Full Moon and the theme for the night
• Build an ancestral altar to honor your ancestral lineage
• Ceremony to honor your ancestors, their gifts, and to heal ancestral trauma
• Guided meditation and drum journey with the Bone Shaman to retrieve lost soul parts, ancestral medicine, and the blessings and gifts of your lineage and personal soul line.
• Journal, integrate, and share your experience.
• Receive a Mythical Goddess Tarot message for the group before closing the circle if possible.
• A sacred evening of women gathering with the Moon, the Earth, and one another.

About Ceremonialist Katherine Skaggs

Katherine Skaggs is a visionary artist, author, intuitive, empath, spiritual teacher, shamanic practitioner, and painter of souls. Her exploration of metaphysics, consciousness, energy healing, and spiritual practice began in the early 1980s, eventually leading her more deeply into the path of shamanism.

Katherine has studied, apprenticed, traveled, and participated in healing ceremonies with Indigenous and shamanic teachers in the United States, Peru, Mexico, the Andes, and the Amazon.
